I first entered the doors of Prairie Tab in 1960 as a child while on furlough. On our next furlough, in 1964, I started attending full-time until I left in 1976 to become a pastor elsewhere in Alberta. Although I actually am ordained with another denomination that is represented in Three Hills, I don’t attend that church—not out of disloyalty to my denomination, but because of my absolute loyalty to Prairie Tab. It’s first (Leslie Maxwell), second (Clarence Strom), and third (Ted Rendall) pastors have fed me deeply and contributed to my growth as a Christian. How could I even think of going elsewhere? Now that my wife and I have relocated back to Three Hills after an absence of 47 years, we’ve become deeply involved again in PTC. Currently, I serve as secretary to the board and am privileged to be an elder. I enjoy serving others, especially when I can enter into their problems and help in some small way.
